Have you ever wanted to have your very own, custom made room in Second Life?

This is your chance to get it for free!
Every month PRIME will make one wish come true. We will make your dream room, or as close as we can get with the limitations in Second Life, and when we are done, it's yours.

Of course you have to do something.
1. Choose a room: Bedroom or livingroom.
2. Collect some pictures of the items, style and colors you would like to have in your room.
You can find pictures on the internet (for example using Google pics or a furniture website), and/or use other material, like drawings or your own photos.
3. Write a description. The more detailed it is, the closer we will get, but pictures are more important. We need to know the size and shape of your room, and also how many prims we can use.
4. Send us a snapshot of your Second Life home (the room you would like to have done), if you have one.
5. Send the pictures and description to us.

There are two ways to send the pictures and descriptions:
1. Using a notecard for the description/info. Either upload the pictures to Second Life and make them fullperm (modify/copy/transfer) and drag them into the notecard or paste the URLs to the images into the notecard.
2. E-mail both the description/info and the pictures, or the URLs to where we can find them (Flickr is a nice place for this) to w.wiefel@gmail.com

What you get:
The one we choose will get a complete bedroom or livingroom, textured and animated. The bed or the couch will have an xpose animation engine. Bedrooms will have a Ruby edition bed and couches will have something similar to this engine. If the winner wants a PG engine instead, that will be just fine too. And if the winner wants, the bed can be upgraded to a Diamond edition for 2000L$. (The price difference between a PG Sapphire bed and a Ruby bed will of course NOT be paid to you if you choose the PG version.)

We will try to make the room as close as possible to the description and images you give us. Your bedroom or livingroom will be on display in the PRIME Mainstore until the next winner room is done. After that it will be set for sale (sometimes in a modified version) as a complete set or in parts.


How we choose:
The winner will be chosen by Winona Wiefel and Reven Rosca.
We will choose the winner subjectively, based on what inspires us and at the same time is possible to create in Second Life. Note that size does matter. While it's possible to build at any scale in Second Life, it is impossible to make a good animation engine for a bed or couch that is built to RL scale.

Good descriptions and pictures will give you a better chance. We will look for a design that we will be able to recreate with the tools we have. We will not copy the items in your pictures, but base our design on your ideas in order to recreate your dream room. On top of that we will try to chose different styles each time. There might also be a draw if we have two or more rooms that we would like to make.

Deadlines:
The first deadline is January 12th 2012.
The winner will get one chance to change the textures or other elements before we are done.

Important:
When you apply you agree to let us make a collage of your images (let us know if some of your images are private and should not be used). You also agree to let us use the room in our advertising and stick your avatar name to it in Second Life, on Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, Blogs etc.
